VEN-908.3/4A KART 2 PAD BRAKE 908.3/4 40mm/58mm

COMPLETE BRAKE SYSTEM SUPPLIED WITH CALLIPER CARRIER. THE CARRIER IS NOT DRILLED FOR MOUNTING TO THE CHASSIS. THIS ENABLES YOU TO DRILL AS REQUIRED. NORMALLY 3 BOLTS ARE USED. If you're a switch braker, (off throttle, on brake - off brake, on throttle) like a formula 1 driver, then this is the missing component on your chassis. The Magura is a light, two pad, self-adjusting system. The disk material has been kept extremely light to reduce the rotating force on the axle without compromising on heavyweight performance. And because the disc is smaller, it doesn't protrude below the chassis, which reduces kerbing problems. The system gives the opportunity and confidence to find the late braking zone, to gain places. If you want later braking and faster acceleration out of bends, you want a Magura! Here are some comments and examples of success from satisfied users: "It gave excellent feedback and I was able to brake right on the very limit of grip"."The brake system takes very little time to warm up. On the rolling starts braking into the first corner is as good as it is if it were at the end of a race. The brake gives added confidence and feel"."Weight-wise I have saved between 1 and 2 kg, I believe that the floating disc allows for more even and consistent distribution of the braking action between the pads and the disc. I was shocked to see how efficient the braking was with the Magura system". For me the two big advantages were the weight economy and the same braking feel during the whole weekend, I like that very much!"Be the last of the late brakers, with a Magura 908.3. This is a complete system, ready to fit. However you will need to provide the bolts to make the final fix. We can supply a brake line to a length required by the customer. We recommend Dot 5.1 brake fluid be used. Suitable for Tkm2, Mini Max, and Junior Max.

Important note
Any brake pad will wear if you leave your foot resting on the pedal, just before the bite of the brake. The brake pedal and master cylinder need to be all the way back to the rest position, to function properly. When you don't need the brake, make sure your left foot isn't touching the pedal, this will ensure your not riding the brake.
Use a heel stop, and lean on this instead.
As for the Magura brake, it is a superior system, but you still need to use the system properly by releasing the brake pedal completely when not needed, or the pads will wear.

If you race in a class with control tyres and sealed engines, if you could buy yourself tenths - legally - you'd do it, wouldn't you? So, isn't it time you got one?
