Returns Policy

Before sending items back to us, please read our returns policy below.
We are confident that you will be pleased with your purchases from Venhill Engineering. However, we understand that there may be occasions when you want to return items to us... 

My Product Did Not Fit 
If a product you bought did not fit your motorcycle / or other machine, you have 14 calendar days from reciept of the goods to inform us of the problem. We are happy to give you a full refund of the cost of the items (less carriage costs). Items should be returned with their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Hoses mustnot have taken brake fluid and cables must be in as new condition. There can be a whole range of reasons why the part did not fit your bike. Note all of our stock items (unless described otherwise) will match the measurements of Original Equipment parts fitted to the motorcyle in the factory. 
 
My Product was Damaged in Transit
 

If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days . If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. 

My Product is Faulty on Arrival 
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 14 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage. 

My Item Develops a Fault in the Warranty Period 
If any of your purchases develop a fault, then provided your item is within its warranty period (12 Months), you are entitled to a warranty repair. 

What's Covered for Warranty Repair? 
Venhill Powerhose Plus Brake & Clutch Lines
Warranted free from defects or manufacturing faults for 12 Months. We also extend the warranty to include a 'duty of care' for customers that damage the 1/8th BSP swivel nuts when fitting (i.e. over tightening or cross threading an adapter) and we may (at our discretion) cover replacement for lines if they develop a leak during normal use. 

All Venhill Control Cables
Warranted free from defects or manufacturing faults for 12 Months. If your cable develops a fault in the warranty period, simply return it and we will repair it for you. Note: repairing of cables only extends to inner wires only. 

General notes:
We do not cover damage to other parts as a result of fitting the Venhill products (e.g. damaged internal threads to master cylinders, damages to engine components). The warranty does not cover free replacement of damaged parts after a crash, collision or other impact that subjects it to a force greater than it would expect to receive under normal use e.g. suspension travel and steering. 

Other products not made by Venhill are subject to their own manufacturer’s warranty. For more information about specific products, please contact us. 

If you Change Your Mind 
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (CCR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us*. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the CCR, you have 14 days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Venhill Engineering, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please note this policy has some limitations, see below. 

* Please note: We do not accept refunds/exchanges for hydraulic hoses once they have taken brake fluid. We also do not accept refunds for bespoke/custom made products. 

Need to Return an Item? 
Please post return items to our address (below) clearly marked 'Returns'. Please include a copy of your delivery note or invoice, your contact details and the reason for returning the items.

Venhill Engineering Ltd are not responsible for returns that are lost in the post! Use a method of postage that requires a signature on delivery. The majority of items that are returned to us are sent via Royal Mail Special or Recorded Delivery. In addition to this policy you should also refer to our general Terms and Conditions of Sale
