Venhill Powerhose 40 years

The Venhill team are celebrating a manufacturing milestone this year: the 40th year of our Powerhose hydraulic lines.

Already well-established as a maker of high-quality motorcycle cables, we developed the Powerhose hydraulic line series in 1982; initially for motocross machines. Forty years on and they’re central to our range - and exported worldwide.

Offered alongside our model-specific hoses, the self-assembly range offers Venhill’s proven, high-performance and high quality hydraulic hose, with complete flexibility in fitting options: the customer/dealer simply cuts the braided hose to length, selects the required fittings, and connects to the hose with the supplied nut and olive.

Precision made in our UK factory, Powerhose Plus hoses feature a smooth bore DuPont® Teflon® core for heat resistance and efficient fluid flow; are wrapped in a stainless steel braid to prevent expansion under pressure; and PVC jacketed to keep moisture and dirt out.

Threaded Swivel Fittings offer positioning with zero twist, and we machine our own banjo fittings and dome-headed banjo bolts to ensure proper fitment and a consistent, quality finish. 

It's this commitment to quality - and continued product development - that continues to drive the company today, and has resulted in significant expansion this year too: we have recently expanded into property adjacent to our Dorking factory, doubling our footprint, and securing additional storage space for components and finished products.
