Herbertson delivers podium for Venhill in Supertwin TT

Dominic Herbertson rounded off his week at the 2025 Isle of Man TT with a hard-fought 3rd place on the Venhill-supported Melbray Racing Paton S1-R in the Supertwin Race 2 on Friday 5th June.
Building on his fifth place finish in Race 1, which was reduced from three laps to two due to delays caused by the weather, Dom was up against stiff competition from some of the biggest names in the paddock, including Michael Dunlop, Rob Hodson, Paul Jordan and Davey Todd, all of whom were on form this year.
Setting off in the evening sunshine at 6 pm, over the scheduled three-lap distance, Dunlop led from the start, with Herbertson in the top six. Dom moved into fourth place after Lap 1 and when Rob Hodson retired shortly after the Gooseneck he was up into third place.
Going into the final lap, Browne, McLean, Jordan, and Furber were all snapping at Dom's heels, but he held them off to secure his place on the podium.
Dunlop set a new record of 123.056 mph (average speed!), claiming his 33rd TT win. Todd finished second and Dom was third, with an average speed of 121.370 mph. Jordan (121.899 mph), Browne (120.791 mph) and McLean (120.397 mph) rounded up the top six places.
This is Dom's second ever TT podium and his first for Mebray Racing, who sponsored him with a meticulously prepared Paton S1-R, featuring Venhill brake lines and control cables.
All of us at Venhill send Dom and the team our warmest congratulations and we're already looking forward to TT 2026.
