New Managing Director at Venhill

Simon Kennedy (pictured above centre) has joined Venhill Engineering as Managing Director, taking over from Max and Lisa Adams, who have run the business for the past 20 years.
Simon, who has a wealth of experience running companies in print media, telecoms and utilities, says that continuity is the “absolute main objective”.
Venhill experienced a surge in demand last year, as motorcyclists took advantage of extra time on their hands during lockdown to tackle restoration projects. Extra staff were recruited and shift-working was introduced to boost production.
Operations Manager Martin Bradfield (above left) and Purchasing Manager Dean Freeman (above right) remain in position, ensuring the smooth-running of the factory. Max and Lisa will stay on for for a three-month handover period, helping Simon gain an in-depth understanding of this specialist manufacturer.
“This is an exciting time to be joining Venhill. The company has introduced a new product every day for the past 1,000 days” comments Simon. “Looking ahead, my aim is to build on Max and Lisa's legacy by investing in the technology so that we stay dynamic and responsive to our customers' needs.”
