Dom Herbertson Paton S1-R

Get ready for some thrilling Supertwin TT action! Melbray Racing has announced their exciting partnership with fan-favorite Dominic Herbertson for this year's races, and they're bringing a serious weapon to the table: a meticulously prepared Paton S1-R, featuring Venhill brake lines and control cables

The Italian marque has been a dominant force in the Supertwin class, racking up an impressive six victories since 2017. Dom himself knows the Paton's potential, having piloted one to a fantastic third-place finish in last year's Supertwin Race 1. This combination is definitely one to watch!

Melbray Racing's connection with Dom began in 2024, where he showcased his talent with a Top Ten finish in the Senior Classic aboard their stunning Dunnell Manx Norton. Now, they're stepping up their game in the Supertwins.

Team owner Simon Warren is buzzing about the new venture: "A lot of time, thought and effort has gone into building this bike specifically for Dom. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors - The Bike Shed London, Uggly and Co, Malle London, Venhill, The Shed at Laxey, and the Chasin’ the Racin’ podcast - we’ve been able to put together a package that gives Dom the bike he needs to get the results he deserves."

The Paton S1-R is a beast of a race bike, boasting a liquid-cooled 180° parallel 4-stroke twin-cylinder engine nestled in a high-strength steel T.I.G. welded tubular frame, capable of hitting top speeds of 155 mph. The Melbray machine has been further enhanced with bespoke components, including Maxton suspension specifically tuned for the demanding Mountain Course, and top-quality British-made Venhill brake lines and control cables.
