Venhill has moved away from a traditional PDF cataloguing system for its British-made cables and hoses, switching to a much more user-friendly digital version.

Traditionally, Venhill’s 12,000+ fitments were compiled into one extensive PDF catalogue. This was incredibly time-consuming for the Venhill team and made life tricky for trade partners too; when searching for a particular product, users would have to scroll through, page by page, or print the document and search manually.

Now, thanks to a system upgrade, the catalogue is fed directly from the venhill.co.uk Part Finder, and compiled into one fully formatted Excel document. It’s accessible 24/7 from the Venhill website and can be easily searched and edited to suit specific needs. For example, if you’re a Suzuki specialist, you can remove all other marques from the list and focus on only the relevant makes and models.

Since the data is taken directly from the website, any additions or changes to the range are instantly reflected. It allows for much more frequent updates, compared to the previous annual catalogue refresh.

The new format makes it much easier to integrate Venhill’s product listings into retailers’ own websites and makes things more straightforward for international customers, who can adapt the data to suit their home markets.
